How to configure where Curlec emails are hosted?

There are 2 ways for which merchants can send Curlec related emails to their customers.

Option 1:

Using Curlec's domain to send the emails. By default, customers would receive their emails from donotreply@curlec.com. To rename this:

  1. Log in to the Curlec portal.

  2. Click on the main menu.

  3. Select "Settings" - "General".

  4. In the "Sender Email" field, set the name for the sender before the @curlec.com. (Note that the email domain has to remain as @curlec.com)

  5. Click on "Save" and refresh the page.

Option 2:

Merchants can also use their own domain as a relay server for sending out Curlec-related emails to customers. Merchants need to update the DNS entries in their mail server and perform sender authentication. We will assist merchants in this setup process, kindly reach out to Vinoth at vinoth@curlec.com.

After obtaining their unique email server account details, merchants must perform the following setup:

  1. Click on the main menu.

  2. Select “Settings” - Email Server Setting.

  3. Enter the email server host, username and password.

  4. Click Save”.
