Getting Started with Xero

Benefits of integrating your Curlec account with Xero:

  • Collect one-off payments (Instant Pay) to be requested from your customers via email

  • Collect recurring collections from repeating invoices from customers who have authorised a mandate

  • Invoice status updated automatically once payment is made


You will only have to go through the setup process once. For this integration, you need to have Scheduled Collections enabled for your account. 


To set up the connection to Xero:

  1. Click on the main menu in your Curlec dashboard.

  2. Select "Settings" > "General".

  3. Under the "Extensions" tab, click on "Connect to Xero".

  4. You will be prompted to log in to your Xero account.

  5. After granting access, configure your Payment Account* and Branding Theme. 

  6. For each field, click Edit” > select from the drop-down list > click "Use Account" / "Use Theme" > click "Save" to confirm.

  7. Refresh the portal.


*The Payment Account should be your bank account linked from Xero that is enabled for payments.
