How do I set up merchant notifications for Payouts?

The Payout process is a two-step process involving an initiator and approver. After the initiator has generated a Payout, they will need to get it approved (by a manager with a separate Curlec employee ID) before the payment is made to the customer. 


There are 2 types of notifications merchants can set up: Telegram and email. These notifications are merchant-only notifications informing a selected group of employees that a Payout has been generated and that an approval action is pending.


Set up Telegram notifications:

  1. Click on the main menu.

  2. Select “Settings” > “General> “Notifications”.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Look for the Payouts Telegram Notification field and type in the respective Telegram Chat ID (please reach out to Curlec's support team at support@curlec.com to obtain this ID).

  4. Click Save.




Set up email notifications:

  1. Click on the main menu.

  2. Select “Settings” > “General> “Email”.

  3. Click on the appropriate toggles to enable/disable specific payout notifications to merchant.

  4. Click Save.
