OCBC Direct Debit Transfer Schedule

Created by Shiva S, Modified on Tue, 2 Apr at 3:00 PM by Varshini Ravichandran

We establish a Host-to-Host (H2H) channel with OCBC Bank for Direct Debit authorisation and collection purposes. Direct Debit instructions will be communicated through a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) server folder set up by us. The file transfer will occur on a daily basis, except for weekends and public holidays.

  1. We deposit CFT files into the server as instructions for Direct Debit collection.

  2. OCBC picks up the CFT files from the server.

  3. OCBC deposits ACK files (positive/negative) to acknowledge the receipt of CFT files.

  4. After collection is completed, OCBC will deposit RET files into our server to be picked up by us for updating the collection status.

* The cut-off time for Direct Debit collection file transfer is 4pm daily (weekdays). For merchants wishing to collect before the daily cutoff time, we recommend to generate CFTs by 3.55pm so that we have ample time to upload the CFTs to the bank's server.

For Direct Debit authorisation, when OCBC Bank receives the enrolment reports (ENRP) containing customer bank information, they will drop them into the server at 9am the next day. We will then pick up the ENRPs and update our system accordingly.
